Iain,

I had a Sinclair calculator which got repurposed to make a simple monotonic synthesizer - playing tunes on the keypad.

70's calcs were notorious for poor battery life.

I've still got some matrix keypads - surplus stock from TI scientific calcs.

Hi;
As a fellow Lunar Lander enthusiast and avid video arcade game collector, I appreciate the the time and effort that goes into a project such as yours.

Very well done!

I am a EECS student from UC Berkeley, and your 3D tractor impressed me. I came up with an idea of making a guitar out of spring-loaded retracting security badge clips. So I dissected my mouses and figure out the mechanism is similar to your project. If this portable guitar is built, not only will the users be satisfied, it will created more opportunities for people who wants to learn due to the cheaper price & more functionality...
If you are interested, please add me on fb & there are videos introducing my idea on my fb.

Thanks again for your time and I'm looking forward to hearing from you

Best Regards
Dorian Chen

Luna Lander in two words "utter genius" as a kid I remember playing a game called "race car" which consisted of a car on a stick controlled by a steering wheel and a revolving drum with a curvy road on it and plastic trees. So much joy. In a digital world there can never be enough analogue!
